Hi there, Just replyingto your kind message. It is very difficult to judje another person on a website as many members don't place a photo to go with their profile, one does get more exposure for sure. The y should make it complulsery, so one can quickly qualify or disqualify. Anyway, there is a lot of unhappy people out there, not just in Spain, this is worldwide! Through various situations and perhaps unexpected circumstances a person's life is thrown around unmercifully at times. No one in this crazy world is exempt from bad things happening. Wel, I commend you on writing to me because you show initiative. Your comment about my "cheeky face" is correct, spot on. I actually went to a photographer, had a photo shoot,(first time ever and charged me a fortune for the pleasure of that!) and voila, he produced these two pictures. There is a story behind that actually! Byt the way, my nickname "Don Juan" probably is a bit misleading as my real name is Jan, so people in Spain address men politely with the word "Don" in front of their name. I am not living up to the dubious standards of the legendary character. I live by my own rules these days. Every step I make I need to be sure about, I can't allow to make mistakes. If I fall down the stairs for example, no one would know about it, so that is an extra bit of pressure to say the least. One must be alert at all items. I have lived here since 1979 and I am beginning to like it (haha!). I give lots of people sound advice what not to do here in Spain as one can quickly do the wrong things. Keeping one's own council is very much advice number one. People love to know everything about other people and they blab as they have nthing else to do but drinking themselves silly with cheap plonk. Genuine friends are hard to find, you will fin out sooner or later, many aquantances yes, but all superficial people in a nutshell, so within no time all sundry knows. Creating friendship is great but be cautious, there are a lot of crazy people around and it is getting worse by the day. Languages I speak 4. It is an international world out here and in my work I need that every day. I wish you well and good luck 'Lady Pansypotter' in all your endevours. Chin up, girl! Happy for you you bought a house, make sure it is all legal, dear. Many deals are done with shady characters and not so bonafide "Title Deeds". Check it out to be safe rather than sorry later! No harm in writing when you feel like it, don't fear, Don Juan is here. Have a nice weekend. Don Juan
